Thankfulness
Instead of a Dear Grace post, this is a little different.
Dear Rebekah,
This week is a little busy, because today I will babysit Elizabeth and Gabriel with Joy. I also have to work on a CBF message for VBS, and I didn't even have bible study yet, and the deadline is Friday. (I'm the type of person who does stuff last-minute). I'm trying to work a little bit everyday, but I also have to do this with a partner. It's kinda hard communicating with only Emails. Tomorrow, I get to help 4-year old Isaac learn how to read English. Violin lesson is also tomorrow. Yay? I've had some problems with the tuning stuff on my violin, and so now I have to practice on my tiny old violin while it gets fixed. My parents said I don't need to rent because it's only two days. Sigh. But instead of listing all of my stuff I have to do, shouldn't I be thankful? Being thankful to play with younger kids than me. Being able to have a chance of seeing what's it like giving the message. Having the opportunity to even have computers and technology at my house. Getting to be helping others. So instead of writing a list of what to do and complaining, everyone should write a thankful list. Even though Thanksgiving Day, who said that we should only be thankful or notice what were thankful for on Thanksgiving Day? This is what I think everyone should do with there spare time and notice how God is good and how he let us have all these things.
So, future Rebekah, when you read this again, remember to be thankful for what you have. God is always there for you. : )
